Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad confirmed the decision after the meeting concluded. He announced that Eid ul Adha will fall on May 27 in Pakistan.
The meeting took place at the Pakistan Meteorological Department in Karachi, where Maulana Azad presided over the session. Officials and religious scholars participated in the deliberations.
In addition, zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees held parallel meetings at their respective provincial headquarters. These regional bodies shared their moon sighting observations with the central committee.
