Pakistan players have recorded mixed results in the latest ICC T20I rankings following the India-Afghanistan series. Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Nawaz and Sufiyan Muqeem improved their positions in the latest standings.
However, several other Pakistan players slipped in the batting and bowling rankings.
Pakistan Batters in ICC T20I Rankings
Sahibzada Farhan dropped one place to third after India’s Abhishek Sharma moved up to second.
Ishan Kishan retained the top position with 913 rating points.
Farhan now has 848 points, while Abhishek Sharma moved to 862 points.
Saim Ayub remained 41st with 560 points.
Babar Azam also retained his 43rd position with 555 points.
Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha stayed 45th with 547 points.
Fakhar Zaman gained one place and moved to 72nd with 481 points.
Fakhar last represented Pakistan in a T20I in February this year.
No other Pakistan batter currently features inside the top 100.
ICC T20I Batting Rankings
Ishan Kishan leads the batting rankings with 913 points.
Abhishek Sharma follows him with 862 points, while Sahibzada Farhan sits third with 848.
Phil Salt is fourth with 799 points, followed by South Africa’s Dewald Brevis with 789.
Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka ranks sixth with 751 points.
Jos Buttler, Tilak Varma, Harry Brook and Mitchell Marsh complete the top 10.
Pakistan Bowlers Make Gains
Pakistan also recorded movement in the T20I bowling rankings.
Abrar Ahmed remains the country’s highest-ranked bowler in second place with 736 points.
Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan retained the top position with 744 points.
England’s Adil Rashid stayed third with 710 points.
Mohammad Nawaz climbed one place to eighth with 658 points.
He now sits inside the top 10 alongside Sri Lanka’s Maheesh Theekshana.
Shaheen Afridi Slips in Rankings
Salman Mirza dropped two places to 17th with 636 points.
Shaheen Afridi also slipped one position and now ranks 32nd with 602 points.
Usman Tariq retained 59th place with 524 points.
Sufiyan Muqeem climbed to 64th with 510 points.
Saim Ayub remained 72nd among bowlers with 492 points.
Shadab Khan stayed 77th, while Haris Rauf retained 88th position with 448 points.
ICC T20I Bowling Rankings
Rashid Khan leads the bowling rankings with 744 points.
Abrar Ahmed follows closely in second with 736 points.
Adil Rashid ranks third with 710 points, while Adam Zampa sits fourth with 700.
India’s Varun Chakravarthy is fifth with 678 points.
Nathan Ellis and Wanindu Hasaranga occupy sixth and seventh positions.
Mohammad Nawaz ranks eighth with 658 points.
Maheesh Theekshana also has 658 points, while Jasprit Bumrah completes the top 10 with 650.
