ISLAMABAD: The Prime Ministerโs Digital Youth Hub (DYH) has crossed 800,000 registered users, strengthening its role as a leading digital platform for youth empowerment under the Prime Ministerโs Youth Programme (PMYP).
Platform milestone and overview
Chairman PMYP Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan congratulated young Pakistanis on the milestone. He said the platform represents more than digital innovation. Instead, he described it as a national movement that expands equal access to opportunities and improves youth employability.
Core purpose of the platform
The AI-powered Digital Youth Hub works as a single gateway for young people. It connects them with opportunities across four key pillars: education, employment, engagement, and environment. Moreover, it aims to simplify access to national development programs through one digital system.
User growth and partnerships
The platform has registered 800,240 users so far. In addition, it has partnered with 3,163 organisations across multiple sectors. It also lists more than 114,000 opportunities nationwide. These include over 114,000 job openings, along with education, engagement, and environment-related initiatives.
Breakdown of opportunities
Officials said the platform currently offers 114,374 employment opportunities. Furthermore, it includes 292 educational opportunities, 38 engagement initiatives, and 79 environmental projects. As a result, it provides a wide range of options for youth participation and development.
Flagship youth programmes
The DYH also hosts major PMYP schemes. These include youth business and agriculture loans, the youth skill development programme, the laptop scheme, and the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund. In addition, it features the Green Youth Movement and the Youth Talent Hunt and Sports League, which covers both traditional sports and e-sports.
Call for wider collaboration
Rana Mashhood invited national and international organisations to join the platform. Similarly, he encouraged universities, private sector partners, and development agencies to collaborate. He said such cooperation will help equip Pakistani youth with globally relevant skills.
