Lebanon’s Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hijjar arrived in Islamabad early Monday for a two-day official visit. He reached Pakistan following an invitation from Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry welcomed Al-Hijjar at Islamabad International Airport. The Chief Commissioner of Islamabad and Islamabad Police Inspector General also attended the reception.
Pakistan and Lebanon to Discuss Cooperation
During his visit, Al-Hijjar will hold discussions with Pakistani officials on bilateral relations. Both sides are expected to explore opportunities for stronger cooperation between Pakistan and Lebanon.
The Lebanese minister will also meet senior Pakistani leadership during his stay. These meetings will focus on matters of mutual interest and ways to strengthen existing ties.
Officials said the visit provides an opportunity to enhance cooperation between the two countries. They are expected to discuss areas where both sides can expand collaboration.
