Lahore hosted another high-profile wedding as Mahnoor Safdar married Azan Jabbar in an intimate nikkah ceremony. Mahnoor is the daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Captain Muhammad Safdar Awan.
Former premier Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended the private gathering. Following the event, pictures revealed several elegant fashion choices from the evening.
Mahnoor Safdar’s Regal Bridal Look
The bride wore Nida Azwer’s Mughal-e-Azam peshwas in a metallic sage shade. The outfit featured mirror work, hirmuch, gota and zardozi embellishments.
She paired the ensemble with a matching silk dupatta featuring mirror work and traditional embroidery. Mahnoor also carried Jimmy Choo’s Bon Bon bucket bag.
Her jewellery came from Lebanese luxury house Mouawad. She wore the Le Soleil suite, featuring 211 carats of white and yellow diamonds.
Azan Jabbar opted for a sophisticated prince coat by Pakistani designer Faraz Manan. His choice echoed the designer’s previous association with the Safdar family.
Maryam Nawaz and Shanzeh Ali’s Choices
Maryam Nawaz also selected a Pakistani designer for the occasion. She wore a custom kurta by Parniyaan by Ayesha Jawad, featuring heirloom Chantilly lace and Swarovski crystals.
The outfit also included marori and jamdani embroidery with real gems. She completed the look with a necklace featuring red gemstones and matching earrings.
Meanwhile, Shanzeh Ali Rohale chose a wine-coloured georgette lehenga by Indian designer Manish Malhotra. The ensemble featured gold taban sequins and a matching embroidered dupatta.
She completed the look with what appeared to be a diamond necklace. Her latest choice followed the ornate heritage lehenga she wore at her own mehendi.
Although details about future wedding celebrations remain limited, expectations remain high. Mahnoor’s nikkah has already established a glamorous fashion tone for any upcoming festivities.
