Leaders Review Regional Diplomacy and Islamabad Talks Outcome
Pakistan and China have held high-level discussions on regional peace efforts following the recently concluded Islamabad Talks and ongoing US–Iran negotiations. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in a detailed telephone conversation on Monday.
Both sides reviewed the evolving diplomatic situation in the region. They also exchanged views on the impact of direct US–Iran engagement and its implications for regional stability. Importantly, the conversation focused on strengthening coordinated diplomatic efforts between Islamabad and Beijing.
During the call, the Chinese foreign minister congratulated Pakistan on its active role in promoting peace and stability.
