Hundreds of Flights Transport Pilgrims Under Government and Private Schemes
More than 52,000 Hajj pilgrims from Pakistan have successfully arrived in Saudi Arabia as preparations for Hajj continue at full pace. Officials confirmed on Saturday that 52,195 pilgrims have reached the kingdom through 207 flights operated under both government and private Hajj schemes.
According to official details, nearly 44 percent of pilgrims traveling under the government quota have already arrived in Saudi Arabia. Authorities say flight operations are continuing smoothly as thousands more pilgrims prepare to depart in the coming days.
Out of the total flights operated so far, 135 flights landed in Madinah, while another 72 flights arrived in Jeddah. Pilgrims are being transported onward to their accommodation and religious sites through an organized transport system managed by the Pakistan Hajj Mission.
Meanwhile, 12,111 Pakistani pilgrims traveling under the private Hajj scheme have also reached Saudi Arabia. Officials stated that both government and private operations are being monitored closely to ensure smooth coordination.
Pakistan Hajj Mission Deploys Volunteers and Medical Teams
The Pakistan Hajj Mission has activated large-scale support services for pilgrims across Saudi Arabia. Authorities confirmed that 1,090 field volunteers are currently assisting pilgrims in different cities.
Officials stated that these volunteers are helping pilgrims with accommodation, transportation, guidance, and emergency support. The mission has also deployed dedicated medical and religious teams to improve services during the pilgrimage season.
According to official figures, 652 pilgrim support workers have been assigned to various operational duties. In addition, 255 medical staff members are providing healthcare services to pilgrims, while 183 religious affairs officials are assisting pilgrims with religious guidance and rituals.
Most staff members are currently stationed in Makkah, where the majority of Pakistani pilgrims are residing. Officials said 791 workers are serving in Makkah, while 280 personnel are deployed in Madinah. Another 19 staff members are working in Jeddah to support arriving passengers and airport operations.
Transport and Accommodation Plans Fully Activated
Authorities confirmed that 85 percent of government scheme pilgrims are currently staying in Makkah, while the remaining 15 percent are residing in Madinah. Officials say accommodation arrangements and transport services are operating according to schedule.
To support large-scale movement between airports, hotels, and religious sites, the Pakistan Hajj Mission has activated 230 buses as part of its transportation plan. Officials stated that these buses are helping pilgrims travel safely and comfortably during the Hajj season.
The Hajj operation remains one of Pakistanโs largest annual international travel arrangements. Thousands of officials, healthcare workers, and volunteers participate every year to assist pilgrims throughout their stay in Saudi Arabia.
Authorities continue monitoring flight schedules, accommodation facilities, and medical services to ensure smooth management of the pilgrimage operation. Additional flights from major Pakistani cities are expected to continue over the coming weeks.
Officials also urged pilgrims to follow Saudi regulations, health guidelines, and travel instructions during the Hajj season. They emphasized that coordination between Pakistani and Saudi authorities remains strong to facilitate pilgrims effectively.
