The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has outlined the procedure for parents and legal guardians to apply for a Juvenile Card for children under 18 years of age.
The process allows eligible applicants to obtain an identity card for a child by completing several steps at a NADRA Registration Center. Therefore, parents should ensure that all required information and documents are available before visiting the center.
Child must be registered before applying
According to NADRA, the child must first be registered with the authority before a Juvenile Card application can begin.
Once the registration is complete, the applicant receives a token to proceed with the remaining application process.
This token allows the applicant to continue with the required formalities at the registration center.
Biometric verification and data entry process
After receiving the token, NADRA staff will capture the child’s photograph and fingerprints.
At the same time, the parent or legal guardian accompanying the child must complete the mandatory biometric verification process.
Following biometric verification, officials will enter the applicant’s information into the system.
Afterward, an approval officer will review and verify the application before processing continues.
Fee payment and card delivery
Once every stage has been completed successfully, the applicant must pay the required fee online.
After the payment is confirmed, NADRA will issue the Juvenile Card within the selected service timeline.

NADRA has announced three service categories for the Juvenile Card application.
- Normal Service: Rs. 750 with delivery in 31 days
- Urgent Service: Rs. 1,500 with delivery in 23 days
- Executive Service: Rs. 2,500 with delivery in 9 days
Applicants can choose the service according to their preferred delivery time.
Who can submit the application?
According to NADRA, the child’s father, mother, or legal guardian may submit the Juvenile Card application.
However, if the application is submitted by the mother or legal guardian, one of them must be present during the application process.
This requirement helps complete the mandatory verification process.
