Shah Rukh Khan has revealed that injuries during King’s shoot caused repeated production delays. The actor shared the update while interacting with fans on X.
Responding to questions about the teaser, Khan joked about the film’s delays and asked fans to remain patient. He also praised director Siddharth Anand and the entire production team for their efforts.
Khan explained that filming faced several interruptions because of injuries sustained during the shoot. “Had a few injuries while shooting so had to start, stop many times,” he said.
The actor added that his injuries have now healed and filming is almost complete. He also assured fans that the additional time would help the team deliver a stronger film.
Taking Time to Deliver King’s Best Version
Khan said the team was working hard to ensure audiences enjoyed the action thriller. He highlighted the film’s action, songs, actors and even joked about his hairstyle.
“Taking time to put our best foot forward so you all enjoy it,” Khan wrote. He further said he wanted audiences to feel proud and happy with the final product.
The superstar also confirmed that singer Arijit Singh is working on a song for King. This announcement has further increased expectations surrounding the film’s soundtrack.
Meanwhile, Khan continued entertaining fans during the online question-and-answer session. He responded to compliments about his appearance with his trademark humour.
King Set to Bring Major Bollywood Collaboration
King is scheduled to release on December 24, with fans awaiting its promotional campaign. The film marks a major collaboration between Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan.
The action thriller also features Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan and Anil Kapoor. Arshad Warsi also joins the cast in a prominent role.
