Major Cities Expected to Face Extreme Temperatures
According to the forecast, Sindh will face the most severe conditions. Cities such as Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, and Jacobabad are likely to remain under intense heat.
In addition, southern Punjab areas including Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and Multan will also experience high temperatures. Turbat in Balochistan is expected to face similar conditions.
Meanwhile, central Punjab and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may also witness a noticeable temperature rise. Therefore, authorities remain on high alert across multiple regions.
Rain and Windstorms Expected in Some Areas
However, not all areas will remain dry. A separate weather system may bring rain and gusty winds to upper and central regions.
From April 24 to 29, cities such as Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Faisalabad could receive rainfall. Murree, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum are also included in the forecast.
Similarly, northern districts of Balochistan, including Quetta and Ziarat, may experience rain with strong winds. Coastal areas like Gwadar will remain hot and dry.
In Sindh, most regions will continue to face dry conditions. However, Hyderabad, Badin, and Mithi may receive light rain and winds on April 24.
Weather Outlook for Northern Regions
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is expected to experience intermittent rainfall and gusty winds. Areas such as Chitral, Swat, Peshawar, and Abbottabad are included in this pattern.
Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir may also see periodic rain and thunderstorms. These conditions are expected between April 24 and 29.

The NDMA has warned of serious health risks linked to extreme heat. These include heatstroke, dehydration, and other related complications.
Citizens have been advised to avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight. In addition, they should increase water intake and take protective measures.
