Allama Iqbal Open University has launched its official student application for academic services. The platform provides students with easy access to essential university information. Officials introduced the app to simplify services for distance-learning students nationwide.
App Offers Essential Academic Services
The new application allows students to access multiple services through one platform. Users can check admission confirmations, tutor details, and roll number slips. They can also view examination results, courses, and workshop information.
Furthermore, the app provides updates on book dispatch status and university email. Students can also access contact information and support services directly through the application.
AIOU currently has more than one million enrolled students across Pakistan. The university expects the app to reduce the need for visits to regional campuses and multiple websites.
Students Advised To Use Official App
Android users can download the “AIOU Official” application from the Google Play Store. The university also shared a QR code linking directly to the download page.
Students must use their registered details or CMS credentials to access personal academic records. Those without CMS passwords should contact their respective regional campuses for assistance.
Meanwhile, the university advised students to download only the official application. It also warned users against unofficial apps requesting unnecessary personal information or payments.
