Honda Atlas has increased the price of the Honda HR-V e:HEV in Pakistan, pushing the hybrid SUV above the Rs10 million mark.
The revised price took effect on July 1, 2026. As a result, the Honda HR-V e:HEV has joined the growing list of hybrid vehicles now priced above Rs1 crore in the local market.
The latest increase follows changes introduced under the Federal Budget 2026-27.
Honda HR-V e:HEV Receives Major Price Increase
Following the latest revision, the Honda HR-V e:HEV now costs Rs10,369,000.
Previously, the hybrid SUV was priced at Rs8,999,000.
Therefore, buyers will now pay Rs1,370,000 more than the earlier price.
The revised rates officially came into effect at the beginning of July.
Why Did the Price Increase?
The latest price revision follows the withdrawal of the reduced General Sales Tax (GST) for locally assembled hybrid electric vehicles under the Federal Budget 2026-27.
As a result, hybrid vehicles across Pakistan have become more expensive.
Consequently, manufacturers have revised prices to reflect the updated tax structure.
The Honda HR-V e:HEV is among the latest hybrid models affected by this policy change.
Hybrid Vehicle Prices Continue to Rise
The Honda price revision follows similar increases announced by other automobile manufacturers.
Earlier, Toyota also increased the prices of its Corolla Cross hybrid lineup.
However, the company kept the prices of its petrol-powered variants unchanged.
Following the revision, the Corolla Cross HEV X now costs Rs10,299,000, compared with its previous price of Rs8,935,000.
Meanwhile, the Corolla Cross HEV now carries a price tag of Rs9,849,000. Previously, it was available for Rs8,535,000.
The latest revisions indicate that hybrid vehicles have experienced significant price increases after the withdrawal of tax concessions.
More Changes Expected in the Hybrid Market
The increase in the Honda HR-V e:HEV price in Pakistan reflects the broader impact of the Federal Budget 2026-27 on the country’s hybrid vehicle market.
As tax incentives for locally assembled hybrid electric vehicles have ended, manufacturers are adjusting prices accordingly.
Therefore, buyers considering hybrid vehicles may continue to see higher prices across different brands as companies implement the revised tax structure.
