The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast dust storms, thunderstorms, and rain across the upper parts of the country from June 2 to June 5.
The weather system is expected to bring unstable conditions in several regions, with the possibility of heavy rainfall and hailstorms in some areas.
Officials stated that a westerly wave is likely to enter the upper regions during this period, triggering widespread weather activity.

In Punjab and Islamabad, scattered dust storms and thunderstorms with rain are expected during the forecast window.
Isolated heavy falls and hailstorms may also occur in several districts, including Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Multan, and Bahawalpur.
Moreover, other districts such as Chakwal, Jhelum, Sargodha, Okara, Kasur, and Dera Ghazi Khan are also likely to experience similar weather conditions.
Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Weather Alert
Kashmir is expected to receive scattered rain, windstorms, and thunderstorms from June 2 to June 5.
Heavy falls and hailstorms may occur in areas including Muzaffarabad, Neelum Valley, Rawalakot, Poonch, Kotli, and Mirpur.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, intermittent rain and thunderstorms are forecast from June 4 to June 6 across Diamer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Astore, and surrounding regions.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to Face Intermittent Rain
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is also expected to experience scattered rain and thunderstorms with occasional gaps.
Affected areas include Peshawar, Swat, Malakand, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Mardan, Dir, Chitral, and Buner.
Additionally, tribal districts such as Khyber, Waziristan, Orakzai, Mohmand, and Kurram may also receive rainfall activity during the forecast period.
Sindh and Balochistan Under Dust Storm Threat
In Sindh, upper districts such as Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Dadu, Khairpur, and Ghotki may face dust storms and thunderstorms from June 2 to June 4.
Similarly, northeastern Balochistan is expected to experience stormy conditions in areas including Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, Chaman, and Barkhan.
These weather patterns may reduce visibility and disrupt routine activities in affected regions.
