KARACHI: The South Africa Women’s Under-19 cricket team arrived in Karachi for its first-ever tour of Pakistan. The visitors will play a five-match T20 series against Pakistan during the tour.
Officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board’s Women’s wing welcomed the South African squad at Jinnah International Airport. The reception marked the beginning of the historic bilateral youth series.
Meanwhile, both teams will begin preparations with their first training session on Saturday at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. Coaches will use the session to assess player readiness before the opening match.
The practice session will start at 7:00 pm as both sides fine-tune their strategies. Players will also adapt to local conditions ahead of the competitive fixtures.
Furthermore, the five-match T20 series will begin on Tuesday, July 14, at the National Bank Stadium. The contest will provide young cricketers from both countries with valuable international experience.
