Shehbaz Sharif took to X to express gratitude to Allah Almighty and honour the sacrifices made by soldiers and civilians alike. He praised the nation for standing united, disciplined, and unshakable in the face of aggression. The Prime Minister also lauded the resolute leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, during Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos.

Separately, the services chiefs extended warm congratulations to the nation and all ranks of the armed forces. Field Marshal Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, and Admiral Naveed Ashraf described the day as a powerful testament to courage, professionalism, and unity. ISPR stated that the armed forces stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Pakistan.
Ceremonies took place across the country, including floral tributes at martyrs’ memorials and special prayers for those who laid down their lives. The military highlighted how Pakistan’s measured response exposed false narratives and reinforced full-spectrum deterrence despite challenges.
