The enigmatic demise of a woman aboard the Bahawalpur Millat Express has taken an unexpected twist, as the sibling of the victim declared that her sister, Maryam, had traveled from Karachi to Jaranwala by train for the Eid celebrations.
It is alleged that she was subjected to inhumane treatment which ultimately led to her untimely death.
On April 8th, the brother of the late Maryam stated that he was contacted by ASI Naseem regarding her passing. Upon receiving the news, he immediately went to the scene. There, he was told that Maryam had tragically fallen from a train. Following the funeral and burial, a video surfaced, revealing the true circumstances of the event.
He insisted on their claim, stating, “Evident signs of violence were present on my sister’s body. Our accusation is directed towards the police officer visible in the recorded footage.”
Maryam’s brother claimed that a police officer had removed her sister from a train and ended her life. He promised to closely monitor the situation and reach out to higher-ranking officials for assistance.

A woman who passed away was a resident of Qayyumabad, specifically in Karachi’s C-Area. This unfortunate event occurred on the 8th of April.
Pakistan Railways stance
Pakistan Railways representative Babar Ali Raza declared that the individual who assaulted the female will not be allowed to leave. As per the current statements, it appears the woman intentionally leaped from the moving train.
In a conversation with a private television network, Babar Ali Raza mentioned that the accused individual is still enjoying the benefits of bail.
As per the initial report, a railway representative stated that the Railway Police had relocated the woman to a different coach, and they are also gathering statements from children and passengers involved in the situation.
