ANF seizes heroin in a drug bust at Islamabad International Airport:
The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) thwarted an attempt to smuggle 580 grams of heroin from a parcel intended for London in a significant seizure.
On Monday, ANF operatives conducted the operation at Islamabad International Airport and discovered the heroin, which was hidden in women’s clothing.
The airport is a busy hub for domestic and international travel by diplomats, government officials, celebrities, and business people.
In a different operation in the E-11 sector of Islamabad, authorities confiscated around five grams of cocaine from a Nigerian national.
Furthermore, the officials apprehended three suspects for drug transportation after seizing marijuana concealed in speaker boxes from a Suzuki pickup truck on Murree Road.
ANF and Punjab Rangers carried out a joint operation near Head Sulaimanki, resulting in the arrest of four suspects and the seizure of five kg of heroin.

Officials reported that two of the suspects, residents of Swabi near Faisalabad Railway Chowk, had 1.770 grams of heroin.
Interestingly, the heroin concealed in sweet boxes with the intention of smuggling it to Sharjah, as per Samaa news.
In addition to this, authorities also confiscated a significant amount of hashish, opium, and heroin from Kabirwala Sarai Sidhu.
