Medical Report
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has set a deadline of April 29 (Monday) for the submission of a medical report concerning the health of former first lady Bushra Bibi.
During the court session, the IHC addressed a petition requesting permission for a medical examination due to concerns about potential poisoning of Bushra Bibi.
In response, the court directed Bushra Bibi to undergo a medical examination at either the Islamabad Diagnostic Centre or Excel Lab before the next hearing.
The state counsel apologized to the court for the absence of the Advocate General, stating, “The Advocate General was not present here today, I apologize again.”
Expressing dissatisfaction over the lack of compliance with previous orders, Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb instructed the applicant to conduct the test and submit the report by the next Monday’s hearing.
Earlier reports indicated that the medical checkup of former first lady Bushra Bibi had been concluded. PTI lawyer Intezar Panjutha was reported to have been present at the hospital during the examination, with police deployed inside and outside the medical facility.
The hospital administration had imposed restrictions on the entry of other individuals during the examination process.
As the court awaits the medical report, the case surrounding Bushra Bibi’s health continues to unfold, with further developments expected in the coming days.
