The Punjab government will distribute laptops and Honhaar Scholarships to students from three districts on October 15. The ceremony will take place at the University of Sahiwal, bringing together students from Sahiwal, Okara and Pakpattan.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat announced the event on social media. He said Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz would distribute the laptops and scholarships during the ceremony.
Students from Three Districts to Benefit
Students from Sahiwal, Okara and Pakpattan will benefit from the upcoming distribution. Through these initiatives, the provincial government aims to improve students’ access to technology and educational support.
Moreover, the programmes seek to help students pursue their academic goals by providing resources that support their studies. The October 15 event will bring these efforts to students across the three districts.
Government Plans More Distribution Ceremonies
The provincial government also plans to hold similar ceremonies across Punjab. According to the education minister, officials will organise distribution events in all nine divisions during October and November.
As the programme continues, students can follow official announcements for further details about upcoming ceremonies. However, the minister has not yet shared the exact number of laptops and scholarships planned for distribution in Sahiwal.
The initiative reflects the government’s continued focus on student support. Meanwhile, upcoming ceremonies will provide further opportunities for eligible students across the province to benefit from these programmes.
