Examination Season Faced Serious Controversies
Although the results have now been announced, this year’s examination process remained under public scrutiny for several weeks.
The examinations attracted widespread criticism following allegations of administrative failures, paper leaks, and bribery during the examination period.
Earlier, an inquiry report reportedly confirmed several irregularities. One of the major findings involved the relocation of more than 170 examination centres.
According to reports, many students appeared in multiple papers at one centre before receiving official notices informing them that their examination centres had been shifted elsewhere.
The reported changes created confusion among candidates and raised concerns about examination management.
Administrative and Security Concerns Reported
Besides centre relocations, several other issues also surfaced during the examination process.
Reports highlighted allegations of poor administrative arrangements at various examination centres. Students reportedly faced broken fans, electricity load shedding, and inadequate facilities during examinations.
Security concerns also emerged after at least two separate incidents allegedly involved students bringing daggers into examination centres.
Moreover, some students were reportedly assigned examination centres located far from their schools. Allegations also surfaced regarding the establishment of “home centres” within schools, despite existing examination regulations.
These developments prompted authorities to review the examination process while initiating inquiries into the reported irregularities.

Despite the controversies surrounding this year’s examinations, thousands of students have now received their SSC Part-II Science Group results.
The announcement brings relief to successful candidates preparing for higher secondary education. At the same time, the examination process continues to draw attention because of the reported administrative and security concerns raised during the annual exams.
