ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Traffic Police officially released a comprehensive new schedule for its Facilitation Van service. The mobile units will visit multiple locations across the federal capital from June 29 to July 5, 2026. This dynamic initiative aims to provide convenient traffic and licensing services directly to citizens. According to the announcement, the specialized vehicles will operate daily from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Available Public Services
The facilitation units will offer a wide range of essential documentation services. Citizens can easily obtain driving learner permits, complete driving license renewals, or request duplicate licenses. Additionally, the mobile staff will process character certificates and file missing document reports. This proactive approach significantly reduces the overall administrative burden on the central traffic management headquarters.
Strategic Weekly Deployment
Four distinct facilitation vans will deploy to different major neighborhoods each day. On Monday, June 29, the vehicles will service F-10 Markaz, Ali Pur Lehtrar Road, Bahria Phase II, and Faizabad. Subsequently, on Tuesday, June 30, the vans will move to G-10 Markaz, Naval Complex E-8, Airport Society, and Adventure Inn. On Wednesday, July 1, operations will shift toward G-8 Markaz, Rawal Town, and DHA Phase II.
Weekend Service Locations
On Thursday, July 2, citizens can access the vans at the Srinagar Highway, Bhara Kahu, and E-11. Friday locations include F-11 Markaz, Aabpara Market, and Save Mart G-11. Furthermore, the Saturday units will station at Blue Area, G-14, and Rawal Town.
