Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has released footage that shows an underground missile tunnel located beneath the seabed. The tunnel is designed to support the storage and launch of cruise missiles capable of targeting enemies’ naval vessels, including U.S. aircraft carriers.
The video depicts an extensive underground complex containing what appear to be large numbers of missiles, missile-launching vehicles, military equipment, and other weapons.

The IRGC has increasingly showcased underground military facilities in recent years as part of its strategy to highlight Iran’s missile and defense capabilities. During recent regional conflicts, Iran relied extensively on its ballistic missiles and armed drones, which played a central role in its military operations and deterrence posture.
The release of the footage comes shortly after the United States and Iran agreed to a **60-day, Switzerland-mediated** framework aimed at reducing tensions and pursuing negotiations on outstanding disputes. Under the agreement, both sides committed to seeking a longer-term diplomatic solution while avoiding actions that could undermine the peace process.
Despite the diplomatic breakthrough, analysts note that military demonstrations such as the unveiling of strategic weapons facilities are often intended to reinforce deterrence and signal defensive readiness even as negotiations continue.
