TEHRAN: Hassan Khomeini, grandson of Islamic Republic founder Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, has described the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Iran and the United States as a significant victory for Tehran and urged Iranians to maintain unity in the aftermath of the agreement.
In remarks broadcast by state media earlier this week, Khomeini said the country had entered a new phase following the agreement and suggested that greater efforts would now be required to safeguard its achievements.
He called on citizens and political groups to avoid unnecessary disputes, emphasizing that internal divisions could weaken the country at a critical moment.
