The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad Zone has taken disciplinary action against a Sub-Inspector over corruption and the use of a private clerk.
FIA Director Islamabad Zone Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari dismissed Sub-Inspector Sultan Ahmed from service after charges against him were substantiated.
The charges included corruption, incompetence and employing a private individual to perform official duties. The action has also prompted strict instructions against allowing private individuals to work as clerks within the FIA.
FIA Officer Dismissed After Charges Substantiated
According to the FIA Islamabad Zone, the disciplinary action followed findings concerning the officer’s conduct and working practices.
Sub-Inspector Sultan Ahmed faced allegations involving corruption, incompetence and the employment of a private individual for official work.
After the charges were substantiated, FIA Director Islamabad Zone Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari ordered his dismissal from service.

FIA Bans Use of Private Clerks

“Interference by private individuals in FIA zone affairs will not be tolerated under any circumstances,” Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari said.
The warning makes clear that the FIA intends to prevent unauthorised private involvement in its official affairs.
Deputy Director Assigned Compliance Monitoring
Meanwhile, Deputy Director (Admin) Afzal Niazi has been tasked with monitoring compliance among other FIA officers.
The monitoring will focus on ensuring that officers follow the directive against employing private individuals for official duties.
The latest action therefore combines disciplinary proceedings against one officer with broader instructions for the Islamabad Zone.
