Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is said to have invested a massive INR2 billion in his upcoming film, which will mark the debut of his daughter, Suhana Khan, in the movie industry.
In his recent cinematic outing, Khan starred in the film “Dunki.” Notably, in 2025, he is set to share the screen with his daughter, Suhana Khan, in the highly-anticipated, high-budget movie titled “King.”
The upcoming movie, still in its early development phase, is planned to be an action-packed film, exceeding all anticipations, according to a Bollywood Hungama report.
The report unveiled that filmmakers Sujoy Ghosh and Siddharth Anand have collaborated on a high-octane action movie with a massive budget of 2 billion Indian Rupees.
For the past year, the movie’s creative team has been dedicated to pre-production planning, particularly focusing on enhancing the script and designing impressive action sequences.
Bollywood Hungama cited a source mentioning that “King” is an ambitious action film, exceeding expectations and unlike anything anyone has ever imagined. The production team has spent a year on pre-production, meticulously covering every aspect, from the script to scale and action.
Red Chillies Entertainment, known for producing top-notch projects, is committed to maintaining this standard with “King.” They are dedicated to providing a spectacular debut for Suhana Khan.
In the meantime, a well-informed source disclosed that the creators are engaging in discussions with highly acclaimed stunt coordinators from around the world, specifically in the West, to potentially join the ‘King’ production team.
Siddharth Anand envisions a global action thriller in collaboration with SRK, targeting international audiences. To achieve this, he is working with Western stunt experts and intends to create a unique hybrid of real-life action sequences and VFX enhancements, as mentioned by the source.
The movie production is scheduled to start in May and last approximately five months. The filmmakers intend to showcase ‘King’ in the latter half of 2025.
In the meantime, fans can look forward to seeing Shah Rukh Khan, who last appeared in Dunki, and the debut of Suhana Khan on the big screen through this film. Last year, she began her acting career in Zoya Akhtar’s film “The Archies,” which was exclusively presented on an online streaming platform.
