Mahira Khan Throws her heart on a political party

Mahira Khan Throws her heart on a political party:

On Sunday, during “An Evening with Mahira Khan” organized by the Arts Council of Pakistan in Karachi, acclaimed actor Mahira Khan revealed her support for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.

Renowned satirist Anwar Maqsood interviewed Mahira and talked about a range of topics. Mahira talked about her childhood, her film The Legend of Maula Jatt, the importance of financial independence for women in Pakistan, and politics while dressed in a simple but elegant golden Sari.

During the discussion on politics, Maqsood asked Mahira which political party she supported. After a moment of silence, Mahira said: “I side with pathaan.”

Name of political party that wins her heart

The audience cheered and laughed as Mahira bashfully smiled. During the evening, the Bol star also shared her experience in the industry, including her delight in working with Bollywood heartthrob and veteran actor Shah Rukh Khan.

She also expressed her support for Peshawar Zalmi, for which she is a brand ambassador, in the recent Pakistan Super League (PSL) tournament.

However, she commended the winning side Lahore Qalandars for their excellent performance.

She expressed confidence in her team’s “young” and “good” players and their ability to win the next trophy. When Maqsood jokingly connected her ambassadorship with PTI support, Mahira clarified that it had no relation to her political preferences.
