ISLAMABAD: A shocking video has gone viral on social media, showing a woman driver running over a cop in Islamabad following a heated argument.

The altercation began when the woman got into a verbal dispute with motorway police officers. Matters escalated when one officer refused to let her pass, prompting her to drive her vehicle directly at another policeman standing in front of her car.
In the screenshot, a police official is seen standing in front of the car while in the second screenshot, the cop is seen falling on the footpath.

In the footage, the officer is seen being thrown onto the car’s bonnet before falling to the ground. The extent of his injuries remains unknown.
A police car pursued the woman’s vehicle, which also broke through a barrier.
Sources have confirmed the video’s authenticity, stating that the incident occurred on January 1.
According to an FIR filed on January 2, the woman was stopped at a Toll Plaza for overspeeding on the motorway. Heated words were exchanged when police officers requested her details.
The incident has sparked widespread outrage and condemnation on social media, with many calling for swift action against the woman driver.
Authorities have yet to issue a statement regarding the incident or any potential legal consequences for the woman involved.
