Aamir Khan’s ‘3 idiots’ to get a sequel?: Kareena Kapoor drops hint

A sequel to Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 idiots is in the works, and it will see Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi, and R Madhavan reuniting.

Earlier today, Kareena Kapoor, who played a key role in the film, hinted at the sequel in a video.

She questioned how they could do a sequel without her and suggested that the recent meeting of the trio was not just for Sharman’s Gujrati film Congratulations promotion.

Kareena believed that they were up to something and hiding it from everyone, adding that it smelled like a sequel.

The video ends with Kareena making a call to Boman Irani, who played Virus in the original film.

According to Pinkvilla, fans are excited by the video clip and are hopeful that the official announcement of the sequel will come out soon.

The original film, 3 idiots, was released in 2009 and followed the journey of Farhan and Raju as they searched for their long-lost college friend Rancho.

Along the way, they reminisced about their friend who encouraged them to think differently, even if society deemed them to be idiots.

Kareena Kapoor in 3 idiots

Kareena Kapoor played a key role in the movie 3 Idiots. In the film, she portrayed the character of Pia, the daughter of the college director.

Aamir Khan’s character attracted pia, Rancho, but eventually, she fell in love with him.

Both critics and audiences widely appreciated Kareena’s performance in the movie, and she won several awards for portraying Pia.

Her chemistry with Aamir Khan was also lauded, and the duo went on to work together in other successful films.
