Strait Traffic Continues Under Iranian Coordination
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that maritime traffic continued through the Strait of Hormuz, stating that at least 20 vessels transited the strategic waterway within a 24-hour period under its coordination.
The statement came amid ongoing international attention on the strait, a critical global shipping route that carries a significant share of the world’s energy supplies.
Meanwhile, Iranian officials emphasized that commercial navigation remains active despite heightened regional tensions and security concerns.
The announcement follows weeks of diplomatic and military developments involving Iran, the United States, and regional actors, all of whom continue to monitor activity in and around the strategic maritime corridor.

Missile and Drone Incidents Raise Security Concerns
Separately, the Israeli military reported intercepting an unmanned aerial vehicle that entered Israeli territory from Lebanon on Saturday.
According to Israeli authorities, air defense systems successfully engaged the aircraft, while another suspicious aerial object fell near the border area. Military officials said no casualties were reported.
Additionally, warning sirens were activated due to concerns over possible falling interception debris. Security forces later assessed the situation and continued monitoring the border region.
Meanwhile, a separate report by Bloomberg, citing unnamed sources, claimed that an Iranian ballistic missile strike targeting a Kuwaiti air base resulted in minor injuries to several American personnel.
According to the report, Kuwaiti air defenses intercepted a Fateh-110 missile, but debris allegedly struck the Ali Al Salem Air Base.
The report further stated that approximately five individuals, including military personnel and contractors, sustained minor injuries.
In addition, falling debris reportedly damaged two MQ-9 Reaper drones, with one aircraft allegedly destroyed and another suffering significant damage.
Neither US nor Kuwaiti authorities immediately issued detailed public statements regarding the reported incident.
