The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has postponed recruitment tests for 17 posts at the Board of Investment in Islamabad. The commission has halted the recruitment process for these positions until further notice. It has also removed the relevant tests from the Phase 3 examinations, which are scheduled to begin on October 12.
The decision affects five categories of posts ranging from BS-16 to BS-20.
Five Categories Affected
According to FPSC details, the postponed positions include one Director General (BS-20) post and four Director (BS-19) posts. The list also includes six Deputy Director (BS-18) positions.
In addition, candidates had been scheduled to appear for three Assistant Director (BS-17) posts and three Public Relations Officer (BS-16) posts.
The recruitment process for all 17 positions will remain suspended until the commission issues further instructions.
Candidates Advised to Check FPSC Website
FPSC said it would provide further information about the recruitment process in due course. Meanwhile, candidates affected by the postponement should regularly check the commission’s official website for updates.
The latest development means applicants will have to wait for a new schedule before appearing in the postponed tests.
The commission has not announced a specific reason for delaying the recruitment examinations. Therefore, candidates should rely on official FPSC notifications for any changes to the process.
The Phase 3 examinations will continue from October 12, but the 17 Board of Investment posts will not form part of the upcoming examination phase.
Candidates are advised to keep their application details and examination information available while waiting for further instructions from FPSC. For now, the recruitment process remains suspended, with the commission expected to announce the next steps through its official channels.
