A school’s outer boundary wall collapsed during Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s helicopter landing in Arifwala. The incident occurred while she arrived to inaugurate the Eminence School.
A video of the incident quickly surfaced online. It shows the helicopter descending at a temporary helipad inside a housing colony. Moments later, the nearby school’s boundary wall collapsed as the aircraft approached the ground.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Moreover, officials have not released any additional statement regarding the incident.
Wall Reportedly Collapsed Due to Helicopter Air Pressure
According to initial information, the wall collapsed because of the strong air pressure generated during the helicopter’s landing.
The temporary helipad had been set up near the school. As the helicopter descended, the powerful downdraft appeared to affect the structure, causing the outer wall to fall.
Although the incident attracted public attention, no casualties or property damage beyond the collapsed wall were reported.
