Pakistan has won the toss and chosen to field first in a crucial match against New Zealand at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Pakistan has made one change, with Hassan Ali replacing Usama Mir, while New Zealand has made three changes to their squad.
Kane Williamson, who was previously sidelined due to injury, is back as the captain of the New Zealand team for this high-stakes league match. Additionally, spinner Ish Sodhi has been brought in for the injured seamer Matt Henry, and Mark Chapman has replaced James Neesham, while Will Young has made way for Williamson.
Unfortunately, Pakistan’s all-rounder Shadab Khan remains unavailable for selection due to a concussion suffered during a one-wicket defeat against South Africa.
New Zealand is currently in fourth place in the 10-team table, with eight points, having won four matches and lost three, including a significant 190-run loss to South Africa.
In contrast, Pakistan has breathed new life into their campaign with a crucial seven-wicket victory against Bangladesh, who are already eliminated from the tournament.

United Nations Chief Horrified By Israeli Air Attack On Ambulances Cavalcade In Gaza
Meanwhile, the United Nations chief Antonio Guterres was “horrified” by a strike by Israeli forces on a convoy of ambulances in Gaza on Friday.
In a statement issued today, the UN chief said that the conflict “must stop.”
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, its ambulances were struck “by a missile fired by the Israeli forces” just feet from the entrance to the hospital in Gaza City. In this attack, 15 people lost their lives and it wounded more than 60 others.
“I am horrified by the reported attack in Gaza on an ambulance convoy outside Al Shifa hospital. The images of bodies strewn on the street outside the hospital are harrowing,” Antonio Guterres said in the statement.
