Babar Azam becomes the youngest cricketer to receive Sitara-i-Imtiaz

On the 75th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence, captain Babar Azam  received the third-highest honor and a civilian award called the “Sitara-i-Imtiaz.”

Over the past few years, Babar Azam has consistently delivered amazing performances. According to the ICC rankings, he is now one of the top three batters across all three formats.

Babar is now ranked first in both the batting rankings for T20 and one-day internationals by the International Cricket Council and third in the rankings for tests.

Babar, a Lahore native, has a 59.2 ODI average and a more than 45 Test and T20 average.
