Pakistan has finally had its breakthroughs after reintroducing pace, taking the back-to-back scalps. But despite the steady fall of wickets, the score that India is setting is one that is comfortably defendable. Will Babar’s boys be able to remove the remaining batters and chase the target?

49th over: Naseem finds his second and his third wicket in the last over of his spell. The twin wickets for the young pacer ended the Indian innings early in the 49th over with the score at 266 runs. Pakistan will now have to chase 267 in 50 overs.

Earlier, Pakistani fast bowlers Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf ripped through the Indian top batting order and India lost four wickets for 153 runs in 31 overs.

Pandya and Kishan are still on the crease and facing the Pakistani bowlers.

Earlier, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma decided to bat first in the much-anticipated game of the Asia Cup 2023. Much to the disappointment of cricket fans everywhere, a rain spell played spoilsport twice during the India-Pakistan match on Saturday.

The high-octane match promises to be a thrilling battle between the Pakistani pacers and Indian batters.

Pakistani bowlers gave a tough time to Indian cricketers and India was 51-3 during the 11th over.
