Saudi Arabia’s civil aviation authority has reported a fresh attack targeting Dammam airport in the country’s east. The incident occurred on Sunday evening, just one day after a projectile targeted the same airport.

Saudi Authorities Investigate Dammam Airport Attack
In a statement posted on X, the Saudi civil aviation authority said officials were working to assess the damage and verify airport safety.
“The assessment of the damage and verification of the safety of airport facilities were still underway, in coordination with the relevant authorities,” it said.
The statement confirmed that inspections remained ongoing as authorities coordinated their response with the relevant agencies.
Fresh Incident Follows Previous Projectile Attack
The latest reported attack comes a day after Dammam airport was targeted by a projectile. The two incidents have raised fresh concerns about security at the major airport in eastern Saudi Arabia.
