Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 Pro could bring significant hardware changes compared with the Galaxy S25 Ultra, according to a new specifications comparison published by Nokia Power User. The reported upgrades include a brighter display, faster charging, improved memory technology and built-in magnetic accessory support.
The comparison suggests Samsung may be shifting its flagship strategy towards a smaller, more comfortable design while introducing several next-generation features.
Smaller Display With a New Privacy Feature
The Galaxy S25 Ultra features a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 2,600 nits peak brightness. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to feature a smaller 6.5-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with brightness exceeding 3,000 nits.
One major reported addition is a hardware-based privacy display. The technology could restrict side-angle viewing, making it harder for people nearby to read sensitive information.
Faster Performance and Next-Generation Storage
The Galaxy S25 Ultra runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, supported by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
In comparison, the Galaxy S27 Pro could feature a 2nm processor, LPDDR6 memory and UFS 5.0 storage. Depending on the market, Samsung may use either the Exynos 2700 or a next-generation Snapdragon chipset.
These upgrades could improve processing efficiency, data transfer speeds and on-device AI performance.
Camera Changes and Bigger Battery
The Galaxy S25 Ultra offers a quad-camera system led by a 200MP main sensor. The S27 Pro could move to a triple-camera setup, featuring a 200MP primary camera and upgraded telephoto hardware.
Battery capacity could also increase from 5,000mAh to 5,200mAh. Furthermore, wired charging may rise from 45W to 60W, while wireless charging could reach 25W.
One Major Feature May Disappear
Despite the reported improvements, the Galaxy S27 Pro could drop the integrated S Pen slot found in the S25 Ultra. Samsung has not confirmed these specifications, and the information remains based on early reports.
