Public Gathering
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat declared on Sunday that his party is determined to hold a public gathering on March 30, regardless of any obstacles they may face.
Marwat emphasized the significance of PTI’s presence, stating, “When it concerns PTI, it invariably sparks discussions about security concerns.”
Touching upon the situation surrounding PTI leader Zulfi Bukhari, Marwat revealed, “Zulfi Bukhari’s nomination papers for the Senate elections were rejected in Punjab. Tomorrow, we will unveil an alternative candidate for the Senate elections.”
Reflecting on the recent general elections, Marwat voiced his concerns, asserting, “The elections were marred by rigging, resulting in the theft of our mandate.”
Acknowledging the vacuum in leadership that emerged in Punjab after the events of May 9, Marwat admitted, “There is currently a lack of viable leadership alternatives in Punjab.”
Addressing rumors of discord between lawyers and PTI political figures, Marwat clarified, “There is no truth to the rumors of conflict between lawyers and PTI leaders.”
He further emphasized the unity within PTI, stating unequivocally, “There is no factionalism or ‘grouping’ within PTI.”
Marwat’s remarks underscore PTI’s unwavering commitment to its political objectives despite challenges and setbacks.
The party’s determination to hold a public gathering on March 30 reflects its resilience in the face of adversity, as it continues to navigate the complex political landscape of Pakistan.
