NAB’s letter to handover Salman Shehbaz, an absconder, has been delivered to the UK government on December 31. A court in Pakistan has declared absconder to Salman Shehbaz.

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has sent a written request to British government to handover Salman Shehbaz to Pakistan. In its letter to UK government, NAB said Salman Shehbaz, elder son of opposition leader and PML-N President Mian Shehbaz Sharif, is wanted in the money laundering charges and TT scandal.

NAB’s letter to handover Salman Shehbaz, an absconder, has been delivered to the UK government on December 31. A court in Pakistan has declared absconder to Salman Shehbaz.

Earlier, the Bureau decided to approach Interpol to bring back Salman Shhebaz to the country to face corruption cases.

The NAB requested the court to declare the accused as an absconder due to his consistent absence from court proceedings in money laundering and TT scam case.

Since 2019, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had seized his immovable property for not appearing in a money laundering case.

Meanwhile, an accountability court also issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif’s son Salman Shehbaz in a money laundering case.

Salman Shehbaz is in middle of this picture with his father on his right and brother on his left.

The banking crime wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has unearthed billions of rupees corruption and money laundering through bank accounts of his employees. To probe the case, the NAB has approached the British government to make sure that Salman Shehbaz is handed over to Pakistan.
