Election Commission of Pakistan Extends Deadline for Voter Registration till July 20

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has taken a step to make the electoral process smoother and enhance the accuracy of voter information by extending the deadline for voter registration, vote exclusion, and validation.

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has takes a step to make the electoral process smoother. It also enhances the accuracy of voter information by extending the deadline for voter registration, vote exclusion, and validation.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has extend the deadline saying till July 20, 2023, citizens can avail of various voter-related services by approaching the Election Commission.

To provide easy access to voting status information, the ECP spokesperson has introduce a mobile technology-based method. Individuals can quickly receive details about their registered vote by sending an SMS with their CNIC number to 8300.

The spokesperson emphasizes that voter registration can be done using either the permanent or temporary address mentioned on the CNIC.

To initiate registration, transfer, deletion, or change of vote, citizens can download the relevant forms from the ECP’s official website. After filling out the forms, they should be submit to the respective District Election Commissioner’s office for processing.

The ECP has also recommend specific forms for different voter-related services, such as Form No. 21 for registration and transfer, Form No. 22 for objections and exclusions of votes, and Form No. 23 for rectifying any inaccuracies in the voter data.
