ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has called the next 72 hours “crucial” for the future political scenario in the country because things will become clear by that time.
He said, “the situation will be better in the next 72 hours. If there will be anarchy in the country, everyone will have to wait for another ten years to return to power.”
About the outcome of the vote of no-confidence against the prime minister, Interior Minister said, “There is no do and die. In every situation, the country is heading towards anarchy and crisis.”

He said that the voting on the no-confidence motion will take place on March 28 or March 29. Minister termed the opposition’s efforts to remove the prime minister one and a half year before the next general elections as “a stupidity.”
On Monday, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called upon workers and supporters of all the opposition parties to march onto Islamabad on March 23.

However, Rasheed said that a military parade will be held March 23 in Islamabad where a squadron of 25 J-10C will perform a flypast. He also said that there is a possibility of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s attending the Pakistan Day parade.
