The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe Women. The series will be played in Karachi and forms part of the ICC Womenโs Championship 2025โ29.
The announcement highlights Pakistanโs preparations for an important international home series. Additionally, it strengthens the teamโs focus on maintaining competitive momentum in the championship standings.
Series Schedule and Venues Confirmed
All three ODIs will take place at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. The matches are scheduled for May 4, May 6, and May 9.
Each game will begin at 3:30 pm local time. Meanwhile, the series will be followed by a three-match T20I series at the same venue.
The T20I matches are scheduled for May 12, May 14, and May 15. These games will start at 7:30 pm, offering evening fixtures for fans.
Zimbabwe Women Tour Pakistan for First Time
Zimbabwe Women will tour Pakistan for the first time in their cricket history. The visiting team is expected to arrive in Karachi on April 29.
Both squads will begin training sessions at the National Bank Stadium from April 30 to May 3. Consequently, this provides limited but structured preparation time ahead of the series.
The tour marks an important step in expanding womenโs cricket ties between both nations. It also adds international depth to Pakistanโs home cricket calendar.
Fatima Sana Continues Leadership Role
All-rounder Fatima Sana will continue to lead Pakistan in the ODI format. Her leadership role reflects the team managementโs confidence in her performance and consistency.
Pakistan currently sits fifth in the ICC Womenโs Championship standings with two points. The team gained these points after their recent away series against South Africa earlier this year.
Therefore, the upcoming series holds significance for improving their position in the rankings.
Pakistan Women ODI Squad List
The selected 15-member squad includes a mix of experienced and emerging players. The full squad is as follows:

Focus on Development and Competition
The series offers Pakistan Women an opportunity to build momentum in the ICC Womenโs Championship. Moreover, it allows younger players to gain international exposure at home conditions.
Zimbabweโs maiden tour also adds competitive value to the fixtures. As a result, both teams are expected to benefit from the series in terms of experience and performance growth.
