Jaecoo has officially announced prices for its all-electric J5 EV in Pakistan, introducing a locally assembled electric SUV with a starting price of Rs. 5.99 million. The vehicle comes in two variants, Comfort and Premium, offering buyers different equipment options in Pakistan’s growing electric vehicle market.
The company has also announced introductory prices, which will remain valid until November 30, 2026.
Jaecoo J5 EV Price and Booking Details
The new electric SUV is available in two variants with the following prices:
- Jaecoo J5 EV Comfort: Rs. 5,999,000
- Jaecoo J5 EV Premium: Rs. 6,699,000
Customers can book the Comfort variant with an advance payment of Rs. 1.2 million. Meanwhile, the Premium variant requires a booking amount of Rs. 1.5 million.
Interested buyers can visit their nearest authorized OMODA and Jaecoo dealership to place bookings.
405km Driving Range on a Single Charge
The Jaecoo J5 EV features a 49.5kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed driving range of up to 405 kilometres under the NEDC testing cycle.
Both variants offer the same battery capacity and driving range. The company is also providing a complimentary 11kW home charger with the vehicle.
Additionally, buyers will receive a free spare tyre, offering extra convenience for everyday journeys.
Pakistan’s First Locally Assembled Electric SUV
The J5 EV marks an important development for Pakistan’s automotive industry as the country’s first locally assembled electric SUV.
NexGen Auto, a subsidiary of Nishat Group, is manufacturing the vehicle locally. The company aims to strengthen its position in Pakistan’s expanding electric vehicle market through local production.
The launch also expands Jaecoo’s existing lineup, which already includes the J5 HEV and J7 PHEV.
Introductory Prices Valid Until November 30
Buyers interested in the new electric SUV can take advantage of the introductory prices until November 30, 2026. The launch adds another locally assembled option for customers considering a switch to electric mobility.
