ISLAMABAD: A distressing incident of harassment has emerged in London, involving Hina Parvez Butt, a former member of the Punjab Assembly and a leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
The incident, captured on video, has swiftly propagated across multiple social media platforms.
Butt took to Twitter on Monday, sharing the video of the incident along with her message.
Furthermore, in her tweet, she voiced her concerns regarding the conduct of individuals associated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party. She decried their behavior, which had escalated to a disturbing level, resulting in a physical assault on her in the presence of her son in London.
However, she expressed, “Uncivilized and ill-mannered people affiliated with PTI have resorted to such depths that they assaulted me, threw bottles, and directed abusive language at me, all while my son was present.”
Acknowledging the invaluable teachings of patience and civility imparted by her leader, Nawaz Sharif, the former Punjab Assembly member pledged her unwavering commitment to these principles.
Moreover, the circulating video footage has garnered responses from both her political supporters and detractors, prompting discussions across various social networking platforms.
Subsequently, she took to Twitter again, extending congratulations to the nation on the occasion of the 76th Independence Anniversary.
