Karachi to Experience Water Crisis as Tanker Association Goes on Strike

ISLAMABAD: Karachi residents are set to face a severe water shortage as the Water Tanker Association has declared a strike starting at 7 PM today, suspending all water tanker operations across the city.

The decision comes after five water tankers were set on fire at Jail Chowrangi, an incident that has triggered strong concerns within the association.

Water Tanker Association President Badshah Khan condemned the act of violence, stating that the association will respond through peaceful means but remains firm in its decision to halt operations.

With tanker services being a critical water source for many households, the strike is expected to cause significant hardships for Karachi residents.
