At a private hospital, a security guard shot and killed a dacoit, stopping the attempted robbery, while the dacoit’s three accomplices fled the scene, according to ARY News on Sunday.

The event happened in the North Nazimabad neighbourhood of Karachi. A private hospital was held hostage by four dacoits, but the security guard resisted and killed one of the robbers. The dacoits’ shooting caused injury to a security guard as well.

The injured security guard was sent to the Abbasi Shaheed Medical Center.

Another incidence included two thieves who were apprehended in Karachi. Residents at Gulshan-e-Zia in Orangi Town allegedly captured two thieves. After residents severely tortured the robbers, they were turned up to the police.

According to the police, Samiullah and Kamran, two of the robbers, have been taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

In recent years, Karachi has seen a substantial rise in the number of street crimes.

A man was previously apprehended by locals near II Chundrigar Road for stealing batteries from parked motorcycles.

People apprehended him as soon as he arrived to steal a second battery in one day. After being tortured, he was turned over to the police.

After an initial investigation, the police also found five motorcycle batteries in his possession. Later, he was taken to a police station for formalities and additional inquiry.
