Gov to take strict action against IK over Toshakhana gifts selling, Warns Tarar

Ataullah Tarar, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM), warned Imran Khan on Wednesday that selling gifts he received from Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman while he was prime minister would result in severe consequences from the federal government.

Imran Khan was referred to as a declared thief by SAPM during a press conference on Wednesday in Islamabad.

The former prime minister sold the watch for Rs350 million but only put Rs2 million in the national treasury, he continued.

Additionally, he failed to disclose to the election commission the total value of the gifts.

Imran Khan needs to explain why he was so anxious to sell the watch and what events prompted him to sell other gifts.

Where are the gifts worth billions of rupees, Tarar further inquired.

He claimed that in addition to issuing an arrest warrant for Farah Gogi, who is regarded as a confidante of Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi, and was allegedly involved in corruption during the PTI regime, the federal government will file a case against Imran for selling the pricey watch.

Before December, according to SAPM, the federal government would bring her Back to Pakistan.
