FIA to Install CCTV Cameras at All International Airports to Enhance Security

In a move to modernize and strengthen airport security, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has announced plans to install CCTV cameras at all international airports across Pakistan.

According to official details, the surveillance systems will be set up specifically at arrival and departure counters. The initiative aims to improve monitoring and ensure tighter oversight of passenger movement and immigration processes.

All CCTV footage will be centrally monitored from FIA headquarters, ensuring real-time supervision and swift response when needed.

To support the implementation, the FIA has also directed the formation of dedicated sub-committees at each international airport. These committees will operate under FIA instructions to oversee the installation process and ensure seamless execution.

The decision was formally communicated through a notification issued by FIA Deputy Director Amna Baig.
