The federal government has announced a major recruitment drive for Islamabad Police, offering 1,712 vacant positions for eligible candidates across Pakistan.
The announcement provides an opportunity for young men and women seeking careers in law enforcement. Moreover, candidates from every province and region are eligible to apply.
Authorities have encouraged interested applicants to complete the registration process before the application deadline.
Mohsin Naqvi Invites Youth to Apply
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi shared the announcement through a public statement, urging young Pakistanis to take advantage of the recruitment drive.
He said, “If you have the passion to serve Pakistan with honour, courage, and integrity, this is your chance.”
According to the minister, the recruitment process is open to applicants from all parts of the country. Therefore, eligible candidates do not need to belong to Islamabad to participate in the hiring process.
Tests to Be Held Near Applicants’ Locations
To make the recruitment process more convenient, written and physical tests will be conducted near the applicants’ respective areas.
As a result, candidates will not have to travel long distances for the initial stages of recruitment. The minister also reminded applicants that only a limited period remains to submit their applications.
He said, “Tests will be conducted in your nearby areas. Only four days remain, donโt miss this opportunity.” Applicants are encouraged to complete the online process before the deadline expires.
Recruitment Will Be Based Strictly on Merit
The Interior Minister emphasized that transparency will remain the foundation of the recruitment process. He said, “Let me make it absolutely clear, merit will be the only criterion for selection.”
Furthermore, he warned candidates against attempting to influence the hiring process through any unofficial means.
According to the minister, any effort to interfere with the recruitment procedure will result in immediate disqualification. This approach aims to ensure equal opportunities for all eligible applicants.
