In Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa, a man brutally assaults his girlfriend because she refused to marry him.

The boy punches and slaps the girl. When the girl falls, the boy allegedly begins brutally kicking her.

In Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district, a 24-year-old man was caught on camera brutally beating a 19-year-old woman after she allegedly refused to marry him.

In a heartbreaking viral video, the man slaps the woman, grabs her hair, and throws her to the ground headfirst as the couple walks hand in hand.

Then he kicks her in the face and all over her body with full force. As the woman appeared to be unconscious following the attack, the man attempted to support her on her feet and instructed his friend who was filming to delete the video.

For several hours, the woman was observed lying motionless on the side of the road.

The shocking video was captured on camera in Rewa’s Mauganj neighbourhood on Wednesday.

The accused, Pankaj Tripathi, and the man who was filming the video were both arrested after the police filed a case against the two men under several statutes, including the IT Act.

Pankaj Tripathi was apprehended in the Uttar Pradesh town of Mirzapur after being on the run for several days. Both men are currently being questioned by police.

Pankaj reportedly became enraged when the woman refused to marry him because her family did not approve.

Locals found the woman unconscious by the side of the road and called the police, who treated her there while also filing a report.

According to Rewa’s Additional Superintendent of Police, Anil Sonkar, the man is from Dhera village in Mauganj town, and the girl is from another village.

Mr. Sonkar said, “There was a dispute between the two about something, and the man beat up the woman. The people present on the spot informed the police, after which we reached the spot and brought the young couple with us. The woman was then sent to the hospital for treatment, and the woman’s mother, who reached the police station, did not take any action.”

A case was filed under the Information Technology (IT) Act after the victim complained and the person who recorded and shared the video was named in the complaint.
