Ramzan Chhipa Shares Unexpected Details About Amjad Sabri’s Final Rites

Renowned Pakistani Qawwal Amjad Sabri, celebrated for his deeply moving performances, was tragically assassinated in 2016 during the holy month of Ramzan. His untimely death at the age of 39 left the nation in shock, with his home overflowing with mourning fans struggling to cope with the devastating loss.

Recently, Ramzan Chhipa, the founder of the Chhipa Foundation, recounted an extraordinary moment that occurred during Sabri’s final Ghusl (Islamic funeral bath).

Sharing his experience, Chhipa revealed that he was taken aback during the ritual. “Each Ghusl experience is unique, but when I was performing Amjad Sabri’s, I suddenly stepped back in shock—he began to smile. I was trembling. I immediately called his family to witness it, and they, too, saw it and started praying for him. Only Allah knows the meaning behind such occurrences. Sometimes, we see signs of peace, and at other times, distress,” he stated.

Following this revelation, social media erupted with discussions. Many shared similar personal experiences with deceased loved ones, interpreting the incident as a sign of Sabri’s spiritual purity and peaceful transition. Admirers expressed their belief that he had found eternal peace despite his tragic fate.

However, reactions have been mixed. While some found the account inspiring, others questioned whether such a deeply personal moment should have been shared publicly. Critics argued that revealing such details might not have been appropriate, with some even suggesting that the story was exaggerated. The authenticity of Chhipa’s claim became a point of debate, sparking conversations about spirituality and the afterlife.

Regardless of differing opinions, one thing remains undisputed—Amjad Sabri’s legacy endures, and his influence continues to resonate with his admirers across the globe. His powerful voice and devotion to Sufi music ensure that he is remembered with love and reverence.
